Jim graduated from La Salle University where he was a scholarship baseball player and ROTC member. Upon graduation, he served honorably in the US Army on a nuclear missile base in Germany.
Early in his career, Jim was employed as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative with Merck. Later, he worked as a stockbroker with E. F. Hutton & Co., retiring in the mid-1990s. He was an avid golfer.
Jim was one of my best friends in High School. We both played trumpet, but he was a real musician. He was also a great baseball player (which earned him a scholarship to LaSalle along with Bruce Wenger) and a great basketball payer. Since he hasn't come to any reunions I haven't seen him in 50 years, but I think of him often.
I to hope to see Jim at our upcoming reunion. I have fond memories of JIm and his parents. We use to play cards at his home in the summer. His folks were terriffic!
